Arkham Nights: Tales of Mythos Noir. By Glynn Owen Barrass and Ron Shiflet. Introduction by Robert M. Price. Cover by M Wayne Miller.
The Cthulhu Mythos has always been home to investigators, those brave men and women pursuing its mysteries and horrors while trying to save humanity, and their own hides, from madness and death. The classic, Hard-Boiled Private Investigator, struggling with his own inner demons, has to fight to keep unimaginable evils at bay armed with a gun, violence, and a bottle of liquor to ease the pain. Hard-Boiled detectives and the Cthulhu Mythos were made for each other, and the talented team of Barrass and Shiflet offer a brilliant fusion of Mythos and Hard-Boiled Noir detective fiction, in the vein of Lovecraft's classic "The Horror at Red Hook" and C.J. Henderson's "You Can't Take it with You."
In these eight stories, detectives Barnes and Towers, with the help of fisticuffs, shot glasses, and dames, take on together the terrors of H.P. Lovecraft's nightmares: old Cthulhu Mythos antagonists in new, deadly situations, time-travel through Innsmouth, Dunwich, and Arkham, visit alien dimensions, and much, much more!
Work up your courage and knock on the pebble glass window of the office of Shiflet & Barrass Detective Agency. If you don't have an eldritch case on your hands when you walk in, believe me, you will when you walk back out! -- Robert M. Price

The Children of Gla’aki: A Tribute to Ramsey Campbell’s Great Old One edited by Brian M. Sammons & Glynn Owen Barrass
There is a lake in the Seven Valley, near a town called Brichester. It is an eerie, haunted place, both by day and by night. Night especially though, is a time when no one in their right mind would go anywhere near it, or those oddly deserted houses that stand, albeit barely, on the edge of the shore. But why? What is it that moves about in that lake, a thing that makes its presence known with three sinister glowing eyes that protrude from beneath the water?
Some believe it is an entity that traveled to Earth, many thousands of years ago inside a hollow meteor.
Ramsey Campbell, Nick Mamatas, John Goodrich, Robert M. Price, Pete Rawlik, W.H. Pugmire, Edward Morris, Scott R. Jones, Thana Niveau, William Meikle, Orrin Grey, Tom Lynch, Konstantine Paradias, Josh Reynolds, Lee Clarke Zumpe, and Tim Waggoner, these are, The Children of Gla’aki.

The Mark of the Beast edited By Scott David Aniolowski for Chaosium
http://www.chaosium.com/mark-of-the-beast-ebook?mc_cid=a710a48a38&mc_eid=2c8998a511
Herein are gathered a number of tales portraying the glorious and bestial nature of the werewolf. There are horror, sci-fi, Gothic, cyber, fairy tale and fantasy stories and poems that embrace the essence of the beast, told by an assortment of scribes with diverse styles and voices.
Every civilization has some story or legend of creatures half man and half beast. Indigenous native peoples around the world held beliefs about shamans and witch doctors who could transform themselves into animals. The ancient Egyptians worshiped a whole pantheon of animal-headed gods. The superstitious folk of medieval Europe believed that a witch or a gypsy could curse a man to become a werewolf by night. Pacific islanders told tales of men changing into sharks. Certain African peoples feared leopard men.
Coming from all over the world and from every culture, werebeast legends naturally vary. Among the ways said to become a werewolf include being bitten by a werewolf, being bitten by a normal wolf, a potion or curse from a gypsy or a witch, a family curse, a genetic disorder, drinking rainwater from the paw print of a wolf, wearing an enchanted pelt made from wolfskin, through a pact with Satan or a demon, through the act of cannibalism, etc. Some werewolves have no memory or control over their change while others do. Some change only by the light of a full moon while others can change at any time. Some werewolves look like normal wolves, some look like giant wolves, and still others are mutant man-beasts. Some are solitary and some live and hunt in packs or clans. Now the Full Harvest Moon is rising and the soft wail of the autumnal wind begins…

A Time to Harvest is a campaign unfolding over six months, which will be offered free to all members of The Cult of Chaos, Chaosium's Game Master and Organized Play Program.
“It’s a tightly focused campaign, set in Lovecraft Country, which is inspired by and builds on H. P. Lovecraft's tales", said Mike Mason, line editor for Call of Cthulhu.
Written by established Call of Cthulhu authors Brian Sammons, Charles P Zaglanis, Glynn Owen Barrass and Mike Mason,A Time to Harvest is an an ideal campaign for novice Keepers and players alike, with plenty of advice throughout, but veteran players will also find it engaging and fun too.
"Things are not always what they seem and the players will have to navigate the various twists and turns. It’s also pretty fast paced, with plenty of action putting the investigators into dangerous situations. Whether around the learned halls of Miskatonic University, the streets of Arkham, or the wilds of Vermont, the players will have plenty of opportunities to explore, investigate, and face threats not of this world!”, said Mason.
Todd Gardiner, Chaosium's Director of Organized Play said, "We are so excited to provide this opportunity for Keepers to bring play to gaming groups, stores and homes where they live. As we ramp up to the release of the seventh edition of Call of Cthulhu, bursting out on the scene with a new gaming initiative shows out commitment to reaching new players. Do you and your allies have the mettle to face off against new horrors, about to be unleashed?"
